Company History
E-Z-GO was founded way back in 1954 by two brothers, Beverly and Billy Dolan. They started in a one-room machine shop in Augusta, Georgia, with a simple goal: to manufacture higher-quality golf carts that make traveling the fairway more comfortable, convenient, and efficient. With their dedication to high-quality products and their expertise, they quickly built E-Z-GO into a brand beloved by thousands all across the United States.
The company soon expanded to manufacture and sell a wider variety of transportation options, including utility vehicles and personal transportation. No matter the type, though, every E-Z-GO vehicle was and is built to transport people efficiently and comfortably while providing a wide array of features and amenities.
In 1960, Textron, Inc. bought E-Z-GO, bringing it into the Textron Specialized Vehicle division of the company. To this day, E-Z-GO manufacturers thousands of types of golf carts and utility vehicles every year, all of which are equipped with the latest technology to maximize performance. The company even earned the Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence in 2009, demonstrating that they have been recognized by the industry as a whole for their quality and craftsmanship.
Express™ Lineup

The Freedom® family of E-Z-GO golf carts includes two separate models: the RXV® and the TXT®. This model comes in both electric and gas models.
The TXT® includes many of the best features of the RXV, plus some extras designed just for golfers. The oversized bagwell can accommodate any carry bag you need, and the maximized dashboard storage provides plenty of space to store your other supplies neatly and securely.
